We are a family owned and run hospitality and family entertainment business dedicated to providing quality accommodations, family oriented entertainment and delicious desserts. Only minutes away from the charming Village of Greenport we have been providing accommodations and entertainment to north fork visitors for well over 60 years. Our grandparents, Alexandra and John Drossos built the first units after a disastrous fire destroyed their original home. Over time it expanded to 14 units while the mini-golf and ice cream stand were added as time went on. As John and Alexandra got older their daughter Minnie and son-in-law Gus took over the reigns and added food service to the ice cream stand. Gus passed away some time ago but the Drossos fried chicken is still legendary and one of our most popular items for take away. Minnie & Elaine welcome guests to the motel as well as overseeing the mini-golf course and snack bar operations.

Two years ago Elaine partnered with long time family friends daughter, Jennie, who basically grew up at the mini-golf along with Kyle, Elaine’s son, and is now a french trained chef. Elaine provided Jennie the space and opportunity for a pop-up restaurant serving gourmet items which has become a fabulous eatery and culinary experience not to be missed called Jennies at Drossos. Come meet Elaine and Jennie at the snack bar while the kids play golf.

This year Elaine took on the challenge of updating the motel units. Actualizing the need for updating created the opportunity to add new flooring, modernize the bathrooms and finishes and provide new furniture, beds and linens. All the rooms have been freshly painted and work continues on the outside of our units as well. We’re preparing for a whole new look in the very near future.
